![]() There’s a self service area too to keep the little ones topped up with cold drinks & ice creams plus a proper bar for cocktails etc. You can always get a bed & the snack bar serves amazing fries and takeaway burgers, salads etc. The service of the bars and bathrooms and sun beds on the beach is fab. Beach is great, not the most beautiful in the world but ticks all the boxes and the seaweed situation was minimal and cleared quickly. The room was kept really beautifully and the fridge re-stocked every day. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve had in this region. This is made up for by the large amount of storage space and drawers which there always seems to be a lack of in hotel rooms. We had 2 superior junior suites which are massive and very comfortable if a little dated. By far this is our Favourite of the Iberostar hotels (they are all lovely though) for its size and variety. In the intervening years we have stayed at Quetzel & Toucan twice and The Dominicana and Bávaro suites 3 times we have also stayed at Barcelo & Moon Palace. We visited this hotel 12 years ago and always wanted to return. Definitely worth visiting and coming back. To summarize, great resort, family friendly, people friendly. Angel from El Rancho Steakhouse, great guy, great service! All the guys from Star Camp taking great care of the kids, 5-6 of them, sorry for not remembering names except David. I met many from bartenders, restaurant waiters, room maids.wonderful people. Hundreds of these people do their best to provide guests with comfort and superior service. Again, coming back to personnel which is the strongest piece of their success. This probably includes rooms/suites but noting to worry about. What of this planet will be left for our kids, grand kids.? Other facilities were nice except as mentioned that some of them are due for renovations. Unfortunately, beach is hit hard by seaweed and employees are doing their best to clean beach manually and mechanically but the stuff keeps on coming and it is a never-ending battle (no climate change and its effects on the sea right?). Pools are nice, wave pool is a plus, lazy river is a bit too lazy but still nice. The resort was huge so there was plenty of space at the pools and in the restaurants. ![]() This is primarily thanks to impeccable and superior service and politeness of all of the employees there, from gardeners all the way to managers. While the resort has some small drawbacks such as somewhat older infrastructure, buffet food that could be better and beach seaweed problem that is off course out of their control, the nice things by far outweigh these issues. Was contemplating between very good and excellent, it is something in between these to, like 4.5 stars, but figure it would be more fair to give it 5 star/excellent grade. ![]()
